Project 2: Exercise 3 - Kinetic Typography

This exercise is required to be in a group to create kinetic typography on lyrics of a song. Our group chose the song 'Stay by Justin Bieber and The Kid Laroi'.

The leader of the group delegated the task and the lyrics of the song to each member.

REFLECTIONS

Experiences
I think that kinetic typography wasn't as fun as I thought it would. Usually when I work on animation, I prefer to work on Photoshop than on After Effects. Maybe because this is a learning curve that is needed to overcome. Working on the group project was bit of a hustle because when working on groups, different ideas and preferences tend to go around.

Observations
Doing the animation for the kinetic typography was kind of fun. I get to experiment with different kinds of composition on how to arrange the wording and how to impact song with the motion itself.

Findings
I find that figuring out After Effects take so much time especially in this short semester.

We are to study the packaging's practicality, functionality, ergonomics and concept. Also to study its functions, forms, structure, and material. Furthermore, to study its target audience, design elements and how it lines up with the brand image of the packaging. EXERCISE 1 FINAL SUBMISSION Exercise 2 - Box Making  We have to choose 2 loose items and create a packaging out of it.
